WHO WE ARE

Corwin Anthony, AIA National Director of Pro Ministries:  Corwin was a preseason, All Pac-10 Tight End for UCLA in the late 1980’s and graduated with an economics degree.

He went on to play briefly in the NFL with the LA Rams (’91) and NY Jets (’91-’92). In 1992, Corwin was traded to Green Bay and was released that same year. He then moved to Peoria, IL with his wife Kim and became very active in his church and as a volunteer for Promise Keepers.

In 1996 Corwin moved to Denver, CO and joined the staff of Promise Keepers where he served in the Field Ministry Division for four years. In February of 2000, Corwin and his wife Kim felt called to leave Promise Keepers and join Athletes in Action to serve as chaplain for the Miami Dolphins.

Corwin oversees the chaplaincy program of over 25 professional sports organizations including 17 NFL teams, NBA and MLB.  Corwin also has been serving as the team chaplain for the Miami Dolphins since April of 2000.

Kim Anthony, Dolphins Wives’ Chaplain: Kim Anthony, formerly known as Kim Hamilton, grew up in the city of Richmond, VA. She competed for the US National Team in the sport of gymnastics and took the gold medal in a variety of meets around the world. Kim became the first African-American female gymnast to be recruited by and receive a scholarship to compete for UCLA. There she became a 4 time national champion, a 6 time All-American and she was inducted into UCLA’s Hall of fame in October of 2000.

In addition to her role as Chaplain for the Miami Dolphins wives, Kim works as a free-lance sports reporter (ESPN) and hosts a television show in Miami where she interviews a variety of guests.
